今日の気になるもの Antenna 5/28

Taprootというインディペンデントの雑誌。たまにチェックしているSouleMamaという有名なブログを今日久しぶりに見てみたら、Amandaが雑誌を始めたと知りました。これが素敵なの。欲しいが、日本まで送るとちょっと高い？
っていうか、こういう雑誌をやりたいな～という内容で、しかも印刷している事実にノックアウトされました。いいな。
Today I was fascinated by a recently launched magazine called Taproot, run by the owner of SouleMama blog, Amanda Soule. It looks just gorgeous. It's expensive to subscribe from outside of North America, but I'm completely tempted.
It's exactly the kind of magazine I dream of running myself one day. And they do it in prints... I envy that.


とはいえ、彼女は本を既に3冊出版している人気ブロガーなので、もちろん比べ物にはなりません。バーモント州の古い家を夫婦で改築しながら、可愛い子供達に囲まれて皆んなで色々な手作りをしている様子がブログで紹介されています。その一方でビジネスをして、雑誌を作って。ほんと理想だな、こういうの。
Of course, she is a famous blogger who have published 3 books, and I cannot simply envy her. She is refurbishing an old house in Vermont with her husband and many cute kids, making all kinds of handcrafts, taking amazing beautiful photos. All the while, she runs her own business and a magazine. That's exactly my ideal.
