As a fan of Vermeer works, and an avid reader of literature related to his work, it is no big surprise that I came across this film and instantly watched it.
Dutch Light
Naturally, during my very first visit to Holland, one thing that captured my attention the most was the light - its obscureness and its various shades.
フェルメールの絵が好きで、画家に関する文献も色々読んでいる私が「オランダの光」という映画に出会い、眠いこの映画を最後まで観たりしたのも特に不思議はありません。
そんなわけで、オランダに初めて足を踏み入れた今回、一番意識が行ってしまったのが建物でもなく食べ物でもなく、その光であったのは当然のことでした。
