Sakura

If you have a gentle heart to come visit this blog, you've got to be very forgiving for us Japanese to be nuts about sakura (cherry blossoms) every early April.

If I could be, I would be nuts over cherry blossoms, too. Unfortunately, in America, we are limited to the amount of cherry blossoms that welcome in Spring. Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures, for us who cannot visit & enjoy them.

Breathtaking. Cherry blossoms and Japan go hand in hand, thanks for sharing.

Dearest sweet Mari, it's my first time visiting you here. We are in the same "Unraveling Spring 2011". I have to catch up on class this week. :)
I adore sakura so much...they are just so beautiful and sweet. Unfortunately too for me, we don't have these gorgeous blooms here in Malaysia. Have a lovely merry happy sunday and love to you!

Thank you all! We are enjoying an unusually late spring this year, everything is suddenly in bloom together. It's a pity that Japan is sort of an off-limit for most travelers this year... Wish you will see the flowers in person someday!

I would be nuts for them too Meri. I've never actually seen cherry blossoms. I remember a neighbor having a cherry tree when I was little, but I don't remember blossoms like you've captured here. Just lovely - I hope one day to see them in all their glory!!
