京都 Kyoto

金曜日半休をとって一泊、京都に行ってきました。

また晴れ女振りを発揮して、曇りの予報だったのを雲を吹き飛ばし。

梅の香るなか、散歩をして美味しいものを食べ。

Visited Kyoto on Friday / Saturday for the first time in 8 years.

I blew off all the rainy clouds, and it was a fine day with a scent of plum flowers in the air.

Kyoto is the oldest capital city in Japan, and it's "the place to be" for all Japanese and overseas visitors alike.

 イノダコーヒーは行ってみたのだけどお腹がすいていなくて、入らず写真のみ。
次回は行きたい！
Walked by a famous Kyoto coffee shop, but didn't go in.

錦市場でちょっと買い物。
Onto some shopping at a food market.

 Did more walking.
さらに散歩してお腹を減らす。

なぜなら。。。先斗町のおばんざいやさんで晩ご飯だから！

Went to a small street called Ponto Cho where small boutique Japanese restaurants are concentrated. 

 美味しかった〜。
This is the dinner.

朝ご飯は進々堂のカフェで。これ＋コーヒーお代わりし放題で５６０円！
Breakfast at a cafe - 6 dollars and you get this plus coffee with free refills.

Walked along the river in the morning light.  Such a beautiful day.

工事していてちょっと残念だったけど、知恩院へ。

石垣写真家（自称）としては、最後はこれで締めくくり。
なんと、国土交通省は新しい石垣の建設を禁止しているそう。構造計算が出来ないからだとか。っていうか、もうこれ千年近く持っているのでは？

行ってみれば以外と気軽に行ける京都。また近々行こうと思います。
